ECONOMIC PROSPERITY

We must ensure that our state's economic policies support working families.  I understand the challenges  and frustrations of those struggling to make ends meet, and I will fight for policies that encourage economic growth.

Housing

The American dream has always been dependent on home ownership. I will fight for policies that increase access to affordable housing for all Vermonters.  Our local economy depends on the ability of people to live where they work.

Education

I have always been a firm believer that maintaining local control is essential to the quality of our schools, and I plan to be engaged in, and supportive of, the local work ahead.  In Montpelier, I'll prioritize access to affordable childcare to ensure no Vermonter has to choose between work and staying home to take care of their family.

Tourism and Hospitality

Our tourism and hospitality industry must have a fierce advocate in Montpelier.  I will be that advocate, championing policies that ensure sustainable tourism in our community and throughout the state.  I will work to make sure that we do all we can to maximize the incredibly positive impacts of tourism and minimize the negative ones.
